The zoom controls allow you to increase or decrease either the size of a whole web page or just the size of all the text in order to improve readability.
We'll explain how it works. This feature allows users to zoom in and out of pages by using a pinch motion without affecting the layout of the page. The pinch action is currently supported on Windows through touchscreen and high precision touchpads, on Mac through touchpads and on Linux through touchscreens.

Set a default zoom level for all websites You can enlarge or reduce the size of all web content, as follows: In the Menu bar at the top of the screen, click Firefox and select Preferences. Click the menu button and select Settings. In the General panel, go to the Language and Appearance section. Under Zoom , use the drop-down menu for Default zoom to select a zoom level for all pages. Firefox will still remember individual site zoom levels you set. To set a zoom level for text only, select the Zoom text only checkbox.

Thank you for your help! I compared a working system's Firefox options to the problem user's system. Changing the problem system to have zoommtg set to "Use Zoom Meetings default " fixed the issue. What I do is right click on the link in my email and select copy hyperlink. I then open chrome and right click in the address bar and paste the address. I know it doesn't fix this for you, but it is a reasonable workaround without making the user swap default browsers.
We are not trying to use the web-based Zoom. He has the current Zoom desktop client installed, but the problem is that he should be able to click the link in his email, then have that open Firefox, which takes him to the Zoom page with the join or launch button.
Clicking the button brings up the "Open Zoom meetings? He clicks the box to remember the setting, then he clicks Open Zoom Meetings, and it does nothing in Firefox. The same procedure in Chrome or Edge works normally, that is, it starts the already-installed desktop Zoom client. I am one step ahead of you! As a temp fix last night, I opened Chrome and added a bookmark for this particular meeting and showed his assistant how to start the meeting.
He is the most computer-incompetent user I know and he freaks out about the slightest changes, but he a a partner at the firm, so I have to tread lightly. I want to move everyone to Chrome or Edge, but like I said, changes freak out some people. Is it a recurring meeting with the same meeting ID? You could also make a chrome shortcut by going to more tools, create shortcut.
That's really good to know, and explains much. I'll give it a try. Opening links from a browser is a point of entry into your system. Sandboxing prevents this. Using a normal FF makes it possible but make sure you click links that are meant for you and are from a trusted source.
